Tips from AquaShield: Temperature differences make condensation inevitable. Make sure you create sufficient ventilation so that the cover can breathe. Never lay the cover flat on a table-top. Create distance between the cover and the tabletop by placing a tray, ball or bucket underneath, for instance. Similarly, always create a slope, so that water can slide off the cover and no water pockets can form. Never leave cushions under the cover for long periods (weeks). Remove the covers from your furniture regularly to allow them to air out. Store cushion bags indoors. Make sure your garden furniture / parasol cloth / cushions are dry before covering them to prevent mould.
